Re: Good reads :)
Steven Erikson's fantasy series is pretty good. Author is an anthropologist/archeologist and comes up with some pretty amazing stories. It can be a bit daunting at first, but they are worth the investment. Has made A Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin a little boring for me, Erikson's imagination is incredible.

The Hungering Saga - Heath Pfaff
The Hungering Saga - Heath Pfaff
This book is craaazy, if you have the patience to get through the first bit you won't put it down. The kings guards are frankensteined out with eyes that grant regenerative abilities, arms and legs from bear/wolfs that offer speed and strength and it's awesome! i don't wanna say too much and give anything away but i loved it....

The Kingkiller Chronicle
Patrick Rothfuss - The Kingkiller Chronicle (trilogy, fantasy)
Day One: The Name of the Wind
Day Two: The Wise Man's Fear
Day Three: The Doors of Stone
Very interesting take on Magic (and "sympathy" tehehe) and how it works. I really like the main characters progression throughout the book too!

If anyone has a GoodReads acct, pm me and I'll give you my email address.
I'm currently on a "Read 52 books in a year" challenge, and I've been plowing through a lot of stuff. I'll post recommendations later if anyone gives a shit.
