The ranks of our guild members explained

hey guys, I've decided that too much has changed for us to keep everything the way it was so we need to restructure the whole hierarchy of the guild.

I'll describe the ranks and their roles for my plans of change. Hopefully you guys can nominate or volunteer for officer positions and I'll finalize everything by the end of this week

Inner Council - My most trusted friends who I've grown to know and rely on. I'll be appointing this rank myself

Jedi Council - Officers helping with the management and the operation of the guild. Obviously they have to be helpful to our members and are big contributors to our guild progression. They have to be nominated, elected, and approved.

Jedi Recruiter - Like jedi council but their biggest role is to help recruit members who will fit in with us. We don't have anyone like that right now so volunteers are welcome. Our criteria for new members currently are helpful, nice, and active players over age of 18 (exceptions can be made if they're mature or if members in our guild can vouche for them)

Jedi Master - Originally this position is saved for outstanding members who has shined within the guild. But I'm thinking of saving this rank for our core raiders.

Jedi Knight - Rank saved for second raid group

Jedi - Normal Member, people who have been relatively active so everyone has gotten to know them

Padawan - new members, typically they stay as this rank until many of us have gotten to know them and are comfortable with them.

Warlord - This rank which is unnamed right now will be our top pvper in the guild, only one member can hold this position and he can chose to be an officer to be responsible for organizing group pvp events. He could also just hold this title as a bragging right without any obligation to be an officer. Current holder is Unity. All challengers are welcome to steal the title

As you guys can see. I've removed the ewok rank because it appears redundant with the presence of padawan. Also I'm welcome to suggestions on ways to make this rank system better.

If at all possible I would like to volunteer for an officer position, if one is open, As I like helping people and I would like to be able to help the guild in any other ways I can.

hey valcadus thanks for your offer to help. the only officers we have position open for is for PVP and for Member recruitment. would you be interested in any?

I wouldnt be a good choice for the PvP position. For the Recruitment position, Ive never really done advertising in chat channels for a guild before, (if that is what it would entail) and not alot of recruitment otherwise. However If there is room for more than 1 Recruiter I would like to learn how to.

I really just want to be more helpfull to the guild in any way I can =) Esspecially after all the time I missed due to computer issues.

tbh, there's not much needed as a recruitment officer because we're being more selective about new members these days. Hey you know what, would you like to plan for fun events for this game? This require a lot of creativity so give me a shout if interested.

I think i'm pretty good at pvp.. But I can never get with a good group who can protect my healer :[.. Pvp on my assassin, you better run

I'll do what I can when I can. Don't know why you guys think I'm good at recruiting, all you have to do is ask them if they want to join lol. Most people will, especially if they do ops with us and haven't progressed that far in their current guild.
