Need computer help.

So yeah the problem I'm having is im getting no signal with this new motherboard. I listed the questions in the forum link. Can anyone help?

EDIT: Found out the motherboard has no onboard video. Really need help with this. been on it for hours and it's very frustrating.

I have had similar issues before when the motherboard "seemed" to power up fine but the power was not strong enough to supply enough juice to the display card. The graphics card that you are using has a listed minimum power rating of 550W and requires two power connectors. You have a 750W power supply which MAY be enough depending on what other components are installed on the motherboard and their power requirements.

Is the power supply a new PSU or an old one? Old power supplies can have degraded performance because of leaking capacitors. Try swapping the PSU for a newer one if you have access to another PSU from a working PC. But also make sure you try using a 1000W PSU and that "both" power connectors are firmly attached.

Another possibility is that the monitor is bad. I have seen that happen too with Rish's PC. Try using a spare monitor temporarily to see if you get a signal.

hey acid, can you tell us what power supply you're using? do you have both of the power connector plugged into your video card? i remember when my friend was installing his first graphic card, he only saw one connector and didn't see the other one covered by a sticker.

edit: Oh man, nevermind, by the sound of it, the graphic card works on another computer and not this one, if that's the case, your motherboard might be defective
